(Yes, Really! on Globo)

Back in 2013, something amazing happened: Globo yes, the Globo, one of Brazil’s biggest television networks came to my office in New York to film a segment about my design agency for their show Planeta Brasil. 😲

From Curiosity to Creativity

Ever since I was a kid, I was the type to take apart toy cars just to see how they worked. That curiosity turned into a passion for technology and design. While in High school I built the website for my class, nothing fancy, just a place to post party photos and connect with classmates. It may look a bit “meh” now, but at the time? It was magic.

I was diving deeper into design, picking up small gigs and slowly building a portfolio. Eventually, a client believed in me enough to help me open my own agency in New York. That’s when things really took off.

I registered the company, started growing our team, and just like that, I had my own creative agency in the heart of Manhattan. Planeta Brasil reached out to feature young Brazilian entrepreneurs making waves abroad, and somehow, we made the list! They visited our office near Times Square and told our story: two young Brazilians chasing a dream, combining design, marketing, and a whole lot of hustle. It was such a proud moment not just because we were on TV, but because it captured the spirit of everything we’d worked for.

One of the projects Globo highlighted was our work on “Vem Pra Rua,” a mobile app and website created during a powerful wave of protests in Brazil. We wanted to support from afar by providing clear, creative tools for peaceful demonstration and awareness. It was activism through design, and one of the projects I’m still proudest of.

I’ll never forget that visit from Globo. It was a reminder that creativity, hard work, and heart can take you further than you ever imagined even to the bright lights of Times Square and the screens of millions of Brazilians.

Thanks for being part of this journey with me.
